How it works

Frequently asked questions
How does the face matching work?
A guest takes one selfie. EventFrame compares it against every face detected in the album and returns each photo they appear in, ordered from clearest portrait to most candid. No account required.
What Google Drive permissions do you ask for?
We request drive.file, which grants access only to the files you pick — never drive.readonly, so the rest of your Drive stays private. Export uses photoslibrary.appendonly, which lets us add photos but never read or delete.
Can guests download the full-resolution photos?
Yes, and you control it per album — free, off, or paid. Paid downloads become a revenue line for the event rather than a cost.
What happens on a multi-day wedding?
One album, many chapters. Haldi, mehndi, ceremony and reception each get their own section, but a guest’s selfie search runs across all of them at once.
Is there an app, or just the website?
Both. Guests can use the browser with no install, or the EventFrame app on iOS and Android.
Can guests add their own photos?
Yes. Turn on guest uploads and anyone with the link can add their phone photos. Those get face-matched too.
